Error reading iTunes Database

Reported by: not so anonymous Assigned to: unassigned
Priority: major Milestone:
Component: lastpod Version: 1.0
Keywords: Cc:

Description

This is the log:

org.lastpod.parser.PlayCountsParser?.parse(PlayCountsParser?.java:127) org.lastpod.DbReader?.parse(DbReader?.java:88) org.lastpod.ModelImpl?.parsePlayCounts(ModelImpl?.java:118) org.lastpod.LastPod.load(LastPod.java:57) org.lastpod.LastPod$1.run(LastPod.java:69) java.lang.RuntimeException?: Error reading Play Counts Database. Have you listened to any music on your iPod recently? This can also be caused if you are running iTunes and you have it setup to automatically run iTunes when an iPod is detected.

I can't really get what is the problem, sometimes everything works fine but mostly I just connect my iPod and can't get the lastpod working. I don't use iTunes, if that could be the reason. Using iPod Photo.

We'll need a copy of the "iTunesDB" and "Play Counts" files to diagnose the problem. Without a way to contact you, we can only hope you check this ticket for comments. If not, we might end up having to close the ticket for lack of information.

For this time everything works fine. The reason could be: When using Winapm to manage iPod with it's default portable device plugin, Winamp resets the playcount file. So we could say that this is my fault.
